Ups and downs

Yesterday was an up and down kinda day for me – productive day working towards a new qualification (yes – I am still a certificate addict… apparently this one comes with a graduation ceremony!). 

The evening then consisted of the latest recording of Therapists in Conversation pisode where we discussed Assumptions, Perceptions and Expectations (Episode 7) – I really enjoyed this topic, perhaps because Leslie took my bug bear of sweeping generalisations and crafted the topic from my complaining – so I may have enthusiastically gotten on my soap box (oops)!!

And then for the down – this week’s family quiz – the aim of the game by the quiz master was to make me lose!!!  So a couple of sports rounds later and I was bottom of the pile – then came the round to make me feel a little less left out – long and the short of it was I not only didn’t win, I also missed out on the wooden spoon – disaster!!!

Bottom line though – I might not have been winning but I still had a lot of fun!  I feel that this is a good way to live!
