Sleep

Are you getting enough? & is it good quality?

First Published 18 February 2021

The benefit’s of a good night’s sleep can include (and this is by no means an exhaustive list):

  • boost your immune system
  • help prevent weight gain (we tend to eat more if we are tired – hoping to keep us awake)
  • boost your mood (help you be less cranky)
  • increased productivity
  • improved memory
  • improved concentration

So as you can see, sleep is important for so many reasons – so, time for a quick ‘sleep audit’…

Do you feel like you get enough sleep for you? Can you fall asleep easily?  Do you manage to sleep through the night without waking up too many times? Do you feel rested when you wake up?  Is the room you sleep in the right temperature for you with the right amount of light (or absence thereof)?

If you aren’t answering yes to all of the above perhaps you might want to investigate what is going on for you?  Health Kinesiology is so handy here for tuning into to your system to work out what needs to be tweaked to help you shift your answers to a resounding YES!

If you or anyone you know are challenged by a lack of good quality sleep please do reach out to book in.
