To hug or not to hug?

With the rules and regulations easing off a bit more from next week, people are allowed to hug again from Monday.  But, how does the idea make you feel?  It’s been a long time with no real human contact.  And as most people are feeling the absence of touch, is this a welcome change?  Or is it a potential for apprehension, anxiety and a wee bit of worry?

My feeling is to trust your gut.  Don’t feel like you have to go hugging people if you don’t want to.  Embrace the hug if you do.  If you feel uncomfortable and don’t know why, maybe it’s worth journaling about it.  And if you need to dig a bit deeper, come book in for a Kinesiology or Hypnotherapy session to help diffuse the discomfort.  I’d love to see you in person or on zoom soon.
