Are you in balance?

From a kinesiology perspective, all sessions start with making sure you are in Energy Balance – well, there is no point in doing work on top of a shoogly base (uneven/unlevel foundation to build on…)
Another aspect we look at is a person’s life balance. When we are completely in balance from a physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual basis then life is pretty darn wonderful.
For most of us though, this isn’t where we live most of the time – but we can do work on ourselves to get close.
In most cases, this takes trial and error – and tuning in to oneself. Listening to our bodies/selves and noticing when things aren’t quite right – or are out of balance. And then doing something about it!
A couple questions (and this is not an exhaustive list) to ask yourself are:
- Are you sleeping enough?
- Are you doing enough to relax?
- Are you laughing enough?
- Are you eating the right things in the right quantities for you (and yes – for some, cake is essential)?
- Are you spending enough time with others/alone?
What is right for me, will most likely not be right for you. What is important is to figure out what you need to be in balance – or as close to it as possible – for as much of your time as possible.
And if trial and error takes too long, I have a wide range of tools to find out exactly what you need to be in balance, feel in balance and to thrive.
So, even if you aren’t going through trauma/stress or a big life change, maybe all you need is a top up/service – after all we take our cars for services so why not our mind, body and spirit/soul?
