Four years already!

Four years ago this week I officially launched my business!  

Back then it was called Castography and my business plan said that the main stream to the business was life casting with photography being in second place and therapy was going to be the smallest part.

Fast forward to now – I don’t remember the last time I made a cast, I don’t actively market photoshoots (but I still book and do them – so if you know anyone looking for a headshot or a brand shoot… 😉) and Therapy is now the key aspect of what I do!

I moved from a student Health Kinesiology practitioner to an associate, then converted my qualification to allowing me to use KFRP at the end of my name (but as I never figured out the right order for all my letters I still don’t use it!).  I have also added Transformational Coaching and Hypnotherapy to my toolkit to use with clients.  And – my proudest moment was launching the group coaching series that started last week and having people keen to come on board (Thank you if you are one of those who jumped in!).

Whilst these four years have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs and moments of trying to work out if going back to the corporate life would be easier – it’s working with clients and being that trusted space for them/you to work through what’s happening in the moment, being there to facilitate the changes people want to see, and seeing the improvements that the work I do helps people to achieve makes it all worthwhile.

I do plan to design, develop and run some more group coaching programmes – if there is a topic you would benefit from with a group programme please do let me know and I will see if it is in my wheel house to create (if not – I might just have to go learn something new – such a hardship for someone who loves to learn 😉).
