I will not celebrate meaningless milestones…
First Published 24 March 2022
This is one of my brother’s favourite things to say to me. He graduated from university once – with a 1st (of course). The fact that I have donned the gown and crossed the stage four times (although never with a 1st) he very much enjoyed throwing this quote at me.
But to my brother and to Bart’s teacher I will join Bart in saying ‘eat my shorts’!!!
I will celebrate all the milestones – I don’t care how small they are and, I encourage you to do the same.
One day I might be celebrating graduating from college or university, another day I might be celebrating that I got out of bed and put on clean socks!
I don’t think it matters what the celebration is, or for – we are all different and not only that – every day we have is different so what’s a celebration today might not be tomorrow or next week – and vice versa.
I am building a 3ish month group coaching programme that will embrace the celebration as we move through a 5 stage transition process. If you would like to know more please get in touch – you never know, our conversation might help shape the direction and win you a discount code – now that would be something to celebrate – right 😉
In the meantime – round 2 of Time to Get Comfy in your Own Skin launches very soon – still at a massive discount to working with me on a one to one basis and for that you get workbooks, support and accountability as well as a weekly live call with me and the group once a week – here’s the link to go sign up (start date now passed).
The group opens on the 4th of April (well last time I was all about the 22 so 44 feels good for this one!). If you were a part of the previous cohort and fancy joining us again, please get in touch and I’ll arrange a discount code for you – can’t say better than that!
But for now I’ll leave you with a request/invite to find something to celebrate this week and have fun with it!
