Can you unplug and totally switch off?

When was the last time you switched off? Whether it be a ‘digital detox’ or a switch off from work mode?
With so many more options to work from home now, it can be a real challenge to properly switch off from work. And when you do manage to switch off from work, are you still plugged in to a smart phone/tablet/TV etc?
This month on Therapists in Conversation, this was exactly what we were talking about.
I think my big takeaway was that we are all so so different and it’s going to take trial and error to get the best out of unplugging or switching off. The key is to tune in and notice what works for you and, also notice whether switching off means to be alone or with other people.
Once you tune in to what you need, then you can unplug/switch off in the way that is right for you.
