Creating Plans and Setting Intentions
First Published 15 December 2022
Creating plans and setting intentions can be a great way to start off the year with a positive mindset. Get a head start and put pen to paper now!
Before we start on next year, I would suggest the first thing you do is a review of the highlights of 2022.
- What have you achieved this year?
- What did you try for the first time?
- Have you learned something new? (even if it’s a ‘life hack’ from TikTok/Facebook)
- What have you let go of/removed from your life – this can be a great positive!
Get creative and playful with your list!
Spotify helped me out and told me I was in the top 0.5% of listeners to the band I listened to the most! this year and how many minutes I listened this year (remember – I will celebrate all the milestones 😉) Kindle and Audible also give you totals if you are a bit of a numbers geek like me…
So, on to the planning….
To get started, take some time to reflect on what you want to accomplish in the coming year. It might be an add on from what you achieved last year or something completely new!
Make a list of your goals, both big and small, and then break down each one into smaller, achievable steps.
Once you have a clear plan of action, be sure to make time each day to work towards your intentions – even 5-10 minutes a day can make all the difference!
Don’t be afraid to ask for help or guidance from friends and family if you need it (I’m here too 😉).
Lastly, make sure to be flexible with your plans – life can throw us surprises and sometimes we need to pivot..
With a clear vision, small steps to get there and the want to see a difference, we can make 2023 our best year yet! So what are you waiting for? Get the planning started now.
If however the thought of starting the planning leaves you cold, or you just don’t know where to start, give me a shout either by hitting reply or booking in for a chat – link is below as usual!
As Christmas can be stressful, there is scope for overwhelm to strike! If that’s the case for you or it has been in the past, feel free to download my handy tips (link at the bottom) and another plea for a favour around overwhelm – I am in the process of developing a group program and need your help! If you are female and are a part of the workforce (whether that be as an employee or working for yourself) and you have had even minor twinges of overwhelm, could you please complete a quick survey for me? Alternatively, if this isn’t you but you know someone who fits the bill please do pass the link on to them. Just click the image below or scan the QR code – huge thanks in advance!
