Taking time our to be thankful.

As America celebrates ‘Turkey Day’ today I thought it was a good opportunity to think about gratitude.
When it comes to self care, I regularly here talk of creating a gratitude habit. Whether it’s a general thank you or a more formal ‘I will write down 3 things I am grateful for every day’ journal or some other formal ritual .
So – whether you decide to go formal or relaxed, take a moment or two to acknowledge someone else’s actions or gestures towards you or for the things that are going well in your life right now.
Recognising and acknowledging the positives and then showing appreciation for them can take as long or be as quick as you want it to.
Research shows that forming a gratitude habit can significantly increase well-being and satisfaction.
I’d love to know what gratitude habits work for you?
I haven’t quite settled on a habit I like so I’m open to suggestions.
On the other hand, if you don’t know where to start, I can happily share the ones I have played with so far – you never know, one of those might be perfect for you!
And something else to be thankful for – a much shorter post from me this week 😉
You know where I am if you fancy a catch up or want to book in. 😊
