Happy Birthday to me!

Whilst I am a little early for my own birthday, 6 years ago today I became a ‘small business owner’ or the term I like even less – ‘an entrepreneur’!

Whether you have been with me since this was all just an idea when I was working through my redundancy notice period or just yesterday – thank you for being a part of this crazy journey!

And what a journey it has been!

I don’t think I had a real appreciation of just what is involved in running a business alone. 

I have now learned more than I ever wanted to know about sales and marketing (and I think there is probably a lot still to learn).  

I have worked with some truly wonderful people and I have witnessed some profound changes in their lives,  From the feedback I have (very gratefully) received it makes it all worthwhile to hear the benefits and changes that have been felt.

I have realised how much value there was in the ‘water cooler chat’s’ in the office when I suddenly didn’t have them anymore (and I assume a lot of people recently moving to remote working have experienced this too!) – I am really grateful for those of you I met through networking for providing the conversations and support!

I have learned loads about social media, websites, google, creating videos, the art of networking, tax returns and loads of other stuff that I didn’t realise I had learned until I had to do it!

So, here is to lots more learning (you probably know how much I love a certificate by now), to lots more clients for them to experience the benefits of kinesiology, coaching and hypnotherapy (and whatever else I add to the toolkit over the coming years!)

And I hope we can continue together on this journey – where ever it may take us!
