Have you Heard of National Hugging Day?

Time for a Hug!

Did you know, it’s National Hugging day on Sunday (21st January).

When I discovered this I just had to know more!  It originated in the United States in 1986 and now many other countries have adopted it.  I just want to know how I didn’t know this was a thing!!!

So my top tip is to find some one to hug (with consent of course!!!).
And if like me you occasionally like to hibernate on Sundays and avoid peopling – have a bath!  The warm/hot water ‘holding you’ creates the same feel good hormones as a hug does – and as I woke up this morning with the cold to end all colds (yup I am feeling sorry for myself!), that’s probably a safer option for me to not share my germs! 😉

I thought I would keep it short and sweet this week and move on to giving you some updates from the world of Inner Pathways.

As I approach the 6th anniversary of opening the doors (I’ll write more about that in a few weeks!), my prices will be going up from the 1st of February by £4 to £89 per session for Kinesiology.  My last increase was 2 years ago and I have kept it small so hopefully it won’t make too much of an impact on you 🤞🏼 (coaching and hypnotherapy session fees will stay where they are for now)

In other news, I am in the early stages of putting together some webinars and a couple of new group programmes.  My plan is to bring back the ‘Comfy in your own Skin‘ programme this year so if you missed it last time or are interested in knowing more, please do get in touch.

On the back of last week’s post (if you missed it you can find it here) on Self Care, I’ve had some interest in running a group on this topic, if you are interested, do let me know and if there is enough interest I will get a beta group up and running shortly.

As for the webinar topics, I have a short list of potential topics, but if there is anything you would like to hear about in greater depth please do e-mail me with your suggestions/requests – my current plan is that the webinars will be offered with no charge.

That’s it from me this week – hope you are feeling cosy and warm as the temperatures hover in the negatives here in Scotland, and if you need any support do please reach out for a zoffee or a session (and if you book in for a session before the end of the month you will lock in at the old prices! 🙂)

Right, I’m off to the sofa with a hot water bottle! Take care of yourself!
