What are you Currently Reading
I had grand plan of writing something profound about world book day.
Not only did I miss it (yesterday – when this should have hit your mailbox!) I also lost all inspiration – and so I curled up on the sofa with a book! 🤭 Ironic huh?
So instead of being profound, I am going to keep it short!

What are You Reading?
Do you have any recommendations? Or any books you would suggest stay firmly closed?
Here’s some of my reading recommendations, over the last year, the stand out books for me have been:
- ‘Black Box Thinking‘ by Matthew Syed – really interesting look at the learnings that can be found from ‘failure’
- ‘The Big Leap‘ by Gay Hendricks – recommended to me and I was pleasantly surprised – if you have noticed any limiting beliefs or times where you feel stuck and don’t seem able to achieve what you want then this is one to read.
- ‘Fundamental‘ by Tim James – a good intro to Quantum Physics that I think I actually understood!
- ‘The Untethered Soul‘ by Michael A Singer – was my third time reading this one and I recommend it to just about everyone!
- ‘The Obesity Code‘ by Jason Fung – lots of ooooh and of course moments in this and a different view on the ‘diet industry’
- ‘Spaceman‘ by Mike Massimino – this got me in the feels and reminded me why I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up!
I’m currently reading ‘The Let Them Theory’ by Mel Robbins and I think it may very well be added to the list above next year – some really useful lightbulb moments in there already and I am only halfway through!
I also have a load of recommendations for Young Adult, Fantasy and Romance so if you are more of a fan of those genres hit reply – I am happy to talk for days on book recommendations so be warned 😉
As for don’t read – just the one I mentioned 2 weeks ago – if you missed it, read about it here!
If reading is your happy place, do make sure to continue to carve out time for yourself and a good book, and if it’s not something you have done in a while, I strongly encourage you to grab a book, eReader or headphones (if listening to a book is easier for you!)
