About

I hold a Master’s in I.T. from Stirling University and am passionate about far too many things – but that’s unlikely to be why you are here, so let me tell you the bit that probably is.

I was a Health Kinesiology/Natural Bioenergetics client myself for almost a decade before I decided to train in it. My curiosity got the better of me. I started to wonder how it all worked, so I enrolled on level 1 just to satisfy my own fascination – and somehow never lost the fascination. These days, every new thing I learn just deepens that, and I get to watch it genuinely help people feel better. That never gets old.

My path here wasn’t exactly a straight line – or an obvious one. I was introduced to kinesiology through a friend, and I was highly sceptical. My background is Maths and IT – logical, evidence-first, spreadsheets-not-crystals. I’d been working in Finance and IT for years. But I watched the changes in my friend and I couldn’t deny that there was something to this ‘kinesiology stuff’. About a year later, she talked me into trying it myself for a few things I was struggling with. I didn’t get the dramatic shift she did – but I did feel better, and I found my own “stuff” noticeably easier to deal with. That was enough to put me on this path.

The training and qualifications to get here took a while, so here’s the short version (because they matter, even if they’re not the interesting part):

  • 2018 – Qualified as an Associate Practitioner, after two years of intensive training
  • 2020 – Added Transformational Coaching and Hypnotherapy to the toolkit, because I’m a lifelong learner and one modality was never going to be enough for me
  • 2021 – Qualified as a KFRP (Kinesiology Federation Registered Professional), having added Nutrition, Anatomy, Physiology and Interpersonal Skills – largely during a global pandemic, for reasons that felt sensible at the time
  • 2024 – Added Reiki, in part because people asked how it compared to Health Kinesiology, also – just because!
  • 2026 – Qualified to teach Health Kinesiology to practitioner level

Kinesiology is brilliant for the non-verbal stuff – for when people don’t want to, or can’t quite, put words to what’s going on.

Coaching brings in the verbal side.

Hypnotherapy can go either way. I offer standalone sessions in any of them, or my hybrid approach, where we simply go wherever your system says it needs to go – sometimes blending all three in one session.

My story’s still being written, much like yours is. If you’ve read this far, you already know I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all – so I won’t pretend to know exactly what you need. But I’d be glad to help you find out.

Your system knows the way. I just know the shortcuts.
